Gregory's University, Oklahoma's oldest institution of higher education, was founded
in 1875. SGU is proud of its reputation as a
“Community for Life” and recognizes the importance of balancing students'
spiritual and emotional well-being with academic excellence. SGU is Oklahoma's
first laptop university. Students use a local area network and
such resources as the Internet from anywhere on campus and
even from home. SGU's integrative degree program allows students to
study a core discipline of liberal arts, then pick and
choose courses from any discipline to custom design a degree.
Each student also completes an internship. SGU maintains a 16:1
student/faculty ratio and provides personalized attention in a family atmosphere
in which faculty members dedicate their full-time duties to teaching
and hold degrees from such prestigious institutions as Columbia and
Northwestern universities. SGU's nurturing atmosphere encourages students to become professionals
