| Quite Bright | Great school in a wonderful location. More than prepared me for a career. With credentials from UP I was able to get a teaching position at the University in South Korea. Then returned to work as the international student coordinator for a Portland college. Fantastic scholarship and they actually increased the award every year I was there. The last year was a free ride with the exception of housing. You get out of it what you put into it and UP served me well. I'm not a catholic and never felt out of place. The City of Portland is readily accessible and easy to navigate (great mass transit system). The overseas program was very affordable - paid regular tuition cost. I traveled over 2500 miles to attend UP and would do so again. | Faculty Accessibility: A+, University Resource Use: B | | | |

| Quite Bright | After getting my degree at UP I found it difficult to continue towards my goal of a professional degree. Unknown to me at the time, the Univeristy of Portland has a very poor reputation in stark contrast to the image they paint for incoming students. To this day I have had to work much harder than I should have to regain the ground lost to me by the not-so-wonderful UP. | Preparedness: D+, Reputation: F | | |

| Quite Bright | Honestly, I can sum up the University of Portland in very few and negative words. The school is only about the generating money, there are fees around every corner, the only buildings that are kept up are the ones they show you on the campus tour, parking lots are crowded and unsafe, the campus security officers are more willing to fine you rather than help you, there is nothing to do within 15 miles of the school unless you like fred myers or drugs and gangs. Overall it is a school that is first and foremost about the money, everything after that is just a burden. The surrounding city, especially downtown area has much to do and see, but unfortunatley it is nowhere near the school. | Innovation: C, Faculty Accessibility: F | | | |
