WPC is a great place to go if you want to be a teacher, pastor (with major brownie points for the Church of God), social worker or unemployed. Expect to have a great first two years, then run into significant problems when you reach upper division courses; closed classes with little notice, lack of prerequisite courses for professional/grad school, and lack of job prospects are to be expected. You will probably end up paying, on top of your tuition, for some of the courses you need. Be especially wary of less popular majors, the school will pledge to help and leave you hanging later on. Make sure the classes you need will be available, and get it in writing! Ask about alumni in the specific field you are interested in. Also, unless you are a basketball player expect sub par housing and incompetent housing staff. If you are a basketball player, have no fear, your back will be covered. I will say that the financial aid department is fantastic, and will surpass any expectations you may have.

If you are looking for a big city and a 24/7 party scene, Warner Pacific is not going to be a great fit for you. Warner has outstanding faculty, experienced in their field and able to teach at a personal level. Most class sizes are 15-25 people. The entire community of Warner Pacific, including the staff and students are caring. The Religion and Christian Ministries Department is outstanding, and the entire school strives toward academic excellence. It is next to the Hawthorne District, near downtown Portland, and a short drive to the mountians or the beach. The campus itself sits on the base of Mt. Tabor, making for a beautiful backdrop of green trees all year, as well as a stunning fall season. Mt. Tabor is also a great place to walk, bike, skate, long board, dog walk. If you are into the music, dancing, Northwest scene, you will be socially stimulated. The men's basketball team has also been on the rise for the last year, and the 2006/2007 year appears to be continuing that trend.
Education Quality: A+, Perceived Campus Safety: C

Good ole Warner Pac has many things which create a great community enviornment. It is important to realize that it is a private Christian institution, which does come wtih specific lifestyle expectations. if you do not believe that those coincide with your life, warner is probably not the best place for you. the faculty at warner is incredibly accessible and will help you in everyway possible. it is overall a great school, especially if you are looking into business, christian religion, psychology, and education, along with a strong HHK program as well. you can find whatever you are looking for at warner, along with a nationally ranked mens and womens basketball teams (TOP 10!!). basketball season is a highlight of the year. it is a community, tight knit and inviting.
Faculty Accessibility: A+, Useful Schoolwork: C
