Allegheny is a great place to get your college degree. Although the coursework is challenging, the faculty are very helpful. The Senior project is a great opportunity to study a specific aspect of your field, and prepare for what may lie ahead.

Alleghany is the worst college I have ever gone to. Alfred is 1000 times better, and Alfred is the best college in America!

Allegheny College wasn't the right choice for me. I did not like it at all. Don't get me wrong the academics are great, but the social life sucks. There is nothing to do and most of the people are snoody and stuck up. If you are looking for a town that is upbeat and fun, Allegheny is not the place for you. Meadville is run down and there is nothing to do. The campus is one of the nicest campuses iv ever seen, it is beautiful. Personally, Allegheny was not the place for me, I wasn't the type of person who fit in with the type of people who go there. The students tend to be judemental and a stuck-up.
