Although the coursework is challenging, the faculty are very helpful. The Senior project is a great opportunity to study a specific aspect of your field, and prepare for what may lie ahead. The professors were more like colleagues than superiors. They invite classes to meet at their houses, drink a beer with you on a friday night and are genuinely concerned about your life (both academically and personally). Picking your college is such an important choice in your life. I met my husband in college. Allegheny taught me so much about life. My husband and I do not live in the same city as any of our other Allegheny friends, but we still keep in touch with many of them. Allegheny friends are lifelong friends.
