The entire facility is a joke.Quite BrightNursing
The entire facility is a joke. Not a single advisor knows what is going on with the RN program( or any other program). the program outline they show on the website is grossly incorrect, all the science programs are prerequisites of each other. So you're looking at at LEAST a year and half before they every consider you for the nursing program( which is another 2 yrs, if you jump through their hoops and get advised by someone half decent). I've been told by 4 different advisors at 2 different campuses totally conflicting advising plans, I've taken courses that don't count for what I'm even going for, and they're not even accredited for when I FINALLY transfer. The finical department will also lie to your face whether its blatant ignorance or not, I'll never know. For example I had a family medical emergency and dropped classes before the deadline, and was told that i wouldn't be billed for them and I didn't need to fill out any paperwork, but here I am without any proof that I ever walked through the office's doors. If you can,go ANYWHERE ELSE besides Bucks.

The RN program.AverageNursing
The RN program..Let me start off by saying that there used to be so many reviews for the RN program at bucks until they had the reviews petitioned to be taken down. And let me tell you, they were not good reviews and after failing, I now know why I was apprehensive about the program. Out of 100 of us that started close to half didn't move on. The instructors teaching the program didn't help us with anything, you are expected to get an 80% or higher on the drug calc but they tell us the first week no calculators, everything by hand oh and we don't teach it to you. And yes that's right, they don't teach you any of that but somehow you fail if you can't pass it. Not to mention the nursing part of it..I studied like you wouldn't believe for these tests and nothing they taught helped with any of the tests, they only want extremely smart kids and excellent test takers to pass because in the end what looks good for the school is the percentage rate on who will pass the NCLEX. They hired a new director thinking that would change how the program runs, but nothing changed apparently. It is a disorganized mess and it should have been shut down before my class of fall 2016 even started. Rethink everything you ever thought about nursing and this school. Thanks BCCC for letting down all the RN students in fall of 2016 who didn't "pass".
