I am transferring from this university. It will accept any applicant it can get and it's very obvious. A large percentage of the students here are from PA and can agree they only came here as a last resort or for the partying. All the other students are from NJ and you can find them in greek life getting obliterated every weekend. It's kind of an embarrassment to attend this school and it's only good for partying. If you can get into a better university, go there.

This school is over crowded, you can't get into the classes you need. Some offices are always empty even though their service is needed. Students are ignorant and rude.

I hate Bloomsburg University, I regret the day I DECIDED to transfer here. Psych program is a joke. It is so hard because all of the professors are focused on cog./neuro./experimental you have to be really good in statistics, methods, and applications and then your nominated for Psi Chi (I suppose). Some of the professors in my department are nice and approachable willing to help (mostly females) the other half are rude, unapproachable, and very condescending. I was told to reconsider the major because of my lower grades.

The students are rude everyone keeps to themselves unless your in a clique or group. The girls are snotty preppy girls. The guys are arrogant tools that do not belong in college.

Administration is a joke. They over accept EVERY semester. Scheduling for classes is a JOKE!!!! I am a senior and still cannot get into a 200 level class that I want because its booked. Most of the professors treat you like they don't have time for you and your an inconvenience to them. The professors here are very liberal and not afraid to speak their mind. The one class I had the prof's lecture was a like a comedy show from late night TV (not good enough to be on during daytime when people are awake). He constantly used profanity, yelled and just ranted about his liberal opinion on politics. Had nothing to do with the class material I was very tempted to go to the Dean and complain (but what would that have done?). I felt like it was an overpaid ticket for a comedy show. Lots of profs. use profanity to get higher ratings, they think the students love the shock value they get when you hear a grown-up use no-no words. It's a joke school and should lose all its funding from the state!!!!
