A small non diverse group of females. Profs are universally stuck-up and poor teachers. What a huge waste of money. Avoid! Avoid!
Chatham has a gay vibeMar 22 2014Psychology
Chatham has a gay vibe. The female psych staff seems gay and most of the grad students are their little Barbie doll types. A complete lack of scholarship. The "professors" are in their 20's with no life experience to give them credibility. Staff turnover is constant and does not allow for lasting networking relationships. It's frightening to think that this school is cranking out future therapists, when most of them need a therapist themselves. The worst decision of my life. Stay away!
I took a few classes at Chatham forSep 06 2011Other
I took a few classes at Chatham for my graduate degree. Worst choice of my life. I can say nothing of campus life, but the teaching quality was so low it was laughable. The administrative staff are also mean and incompetent. I guess I should have known better: they don't even require GRE scores for admission.
Faculty is accessible, committed to teaching and theirJul 30 2004English
Faculty is accessible, committed to teaching and their own artistic work. Nearly all are working artists, published authors. The other students in the program are diverse in backgrounds, interests, level of expertise as writers. The campus is gorgeous and comfortable and is surrounded by green suburbs with access to a major city. Lots of things to do if you are interested in the arts, the outdoors.
