I recommend my program for the M.S. in Speech Path. Compared to the rest of the school it has the best reputation but unfortunately that doesn't mean too much here. It's a small program, the undergrads are well prepared to segway to graduate work and hypothetically those grads segway well into the work sector. I wouldn't bother coming here as an undergrad in anything else. I think college should be a time of exploration and the school's location is really aweful, the milieu socially conservative, with a large amount of kids that really just shouldn't be in school. I came because it's CHEAP and University of Pittsburgh offered the same degree for twice as much. If I had less debt from my undergrad, and stronger GRE scores I would have gone elsewhere though.

At first, I was uncomfortable coming to Clarion for my Master's degree program since I was living more than 200 miles away from home. I became so happy when I received help from one of the student organizations on campus and took on new leadership roles. The education I received from Clarion is priceless because I could not afford the time and money to pursue a Master's degree program from any other institution. The professors helped me to prepare for my first, entry-level job.
