DONT come here!!!!!
It is a terrible school located in the SNOW BELT. this meaning that all it ever does is snow from aug. to may.

There is nothing to do in edinboro. and the roads are always too bad to go into erie.
99% of the campus is commuters from erie who don't even want the college experience.. they still have their same high school friends and have no intentions of making new friends.

and the other % of students are in frats or sororities and pay people to "be their friends." these are the people who were social outcasts in high school so now love college cause they paid off people to be their friends.

The teachers are okay (some) but most depts. are short staffed and if u have a bad one you can get stuck with them consecutively for semester upon semester until your gpa is ruined.Oh, and let me stress again the SNOW. DONT come here. it is depressing and the snow will never allow you to leave!!!!

Quite Bright
I had a great time at Edinboro. I was a transfer student and joined a frat. to meet people. I balanced my work load and fun graduating with a 3.5 and having a great time. Edinboro is very liberal and was a party school. I never considered people stupid, just ignorant. You are students, not very wise in the ways of the world yet. Enjoy your time, but be considerate of others. The dorms suck...can't lie about that. But as soon as I moved off campus, everythings was great. There are rude inconsiderate people everywhere, but you learn to make the best out of your situation and avoid those that piss you off.
