I left a comment last year after my first year experience at Edinboro University and because of many changes I feel the need to update my opinions. If I have learned anything my second year at Edinboro it has been that college is only what you make of it. I hated it my first year but I wasn't getting involved or making the best of what the University had to offer. This year I made friends and really became involved in my major. Yes, Edinboro is not the most exciting place but Erie is only 20 minutes away and once you find your group of friends and have a positive attitude your experience will be well worth it. It is also an extremely safe place to be and it's good for students who do not like the big college feel. I do not regret my decision going to Edinboro University and am going to miss it much more than I anticipated.

Super Brilliant
I love Edinboro, it's a great school to attend.
SCHOOL:
- Decent sized town
- Good education
- Greek Life is awesome
- Highlands (dorms) are really sweet...and so as the traditional dorms too.
The cops are rough though, since the only thing that goes on in this city is the college, cops always bust college students.

There are many job opportunities on campus, people say there is nothing because they don't look hard enough.

The school is undergoing renovations...It's gonna look sweet when they are done. Edinboro is a school for the future. Give it 5 years and it will be one of the top schools in PA easily.

Edinboro is a great place.
I loved my first year and I don't plan to transfer. I met many people that were very nice and interesting. Greek Life is very important here, but people don't look down to you if you aren't Greek.

The traditional dorms (Rose, Towers, Earp and Dearborn) are nice. They are a good way to talk to people, since doors are always open and people tend to be very social. Rose Hall was amazing because I met the best people of my life over there. Too bad it is getting closed for renovations.

Highlands are nice. But they always get messed up. But for the most part they are very nice buildings.

Classes are nice. I took Psychology+Sociology+Philosophy and it completely changed the way I saw things.

The Biology and the Computer Science departments are very helpful. As long as you want help, they will offer you some. You just have to go after it. And I'm sure it works the same with any other department.

It snows. It sucks. Get over it.
Good rec sports. Good clubs. Good greek.
The campus is beautiful in the fall and spring. But the winter is awful. You get classes cancelled a lot.

People here LOVE to whine. If you zone those people out, your experience here will be FUN.
Edinboro is a small town, but Erie, Pittsburgh, Cleveland and Buffalo aren't too far. And they are nice cities to be in.

Women are not very attractive here. And the hot ones are hoes. Wrap it before you tap it.
No school spirit. But my friends and I would cheer and support the school teams no matter what.Overall, it is a great place to go to school at. Good science programs, good art and education as well.
