Having been homeschooled, this was a good first college experience for me as a commuter student. High School Jr. or Sr. students can take one class tuition free a semester which helped give me a jumpstart on college and save quite a bit of money. In the Office Administration program the instruction has been excellent. Several of the Bible profs have been nice; the one I have now is alot of work but very good. There are some profs in other departments who are not as congenial. The recent departure of the Campus Pastor was a favorable development, and some recent changes are streamlining the redtape for registration etc. They are currently adding online courses and upgrading the library. The students are kind of indifferent but that may be because I dress much more conservatively because of my church affiliation, but my teachers have all been very good and supportive, nice people.

An excellent institution worth checking out! Friendly staff and students in a very good neighborhood. Also, cost is very low compared to other Christian schools in the area. Faculty is always avaliable, some even give their home phone number. If your looking for a Bible college, your going to miss out if you don't check out LBC.

The campus is spiritually dead. The office of student services does not care about the students even though they claim so. Most of the college is ignorant about their stance on things, including the Bible. They interpret Scripture inaccurately which causes much strife and tension between the students and student services. If you are just coming here to get your Bible education, there are a few professors that are worth your time to invest in, however, most of them are fairly arrogant and don't really care about the students. It all appears fine, the "how are you?"'s and "we're all brothers and sister's in christ"'s abound, but are rarely meaningful. Beware.
Perceived Campus Safety: A+, Individual Value: F
