 | Bright | Be aware it is a small school, so word travels fast. In some ways, it's a good thing, like with people wishing you happy birthday, but in the case of drunken mistakes or embarrassing moments, it could be kind of awkward to have the whole campus know. In addition, the weather in Williamsport is kind of blah during the winter/early spring. It rains more than any other place I've ever been. However, even with that said, I really do love this place. It isn't for everyone, but if you can embrace the quirks, you won't regret your decision to come here. | Innovation: A+, Surrounding City: D+ | | | |

| | Quite Bright | Overall my experience at Lycoming was a very positive one. I didn't take the college application process too seriously (I only looked at 3 schools). Since I was the first in my family to attend college, no one really knew what to do or expect. When I went for an on campus visit I just seemed to fit right in. It is not a school for everyone because it is quite small, but it's exactly what I was looking for. I enjoyed my professors, especially Dr. Sprunger and Dr. Witwer (who is no longer there). I graduated with a degree in economics thinking I was going to work on Wall Street or attend law school, but I fell in love with tutoring and ended up becoming a teacher. I still believe that a liberal arts education is the best way to go because it made me a much more well rounded individual. Campus life is fun and the dorms & food are okay. I participated in Habitat for Humanity, the Campus Activities Board, and the Judicial Board. I even met my husband there and we got married on campus by the campus minister Marco Hunsberger (who has retired). I would highly recommend this school to any student looking for a small campus that provides a well rounded education. | Starting Job: Teacher, Preparedness: A, Reputation: B- | | |

| | Quite Bright | If I had it to do over again I would not have picked this school. Positives: excellent school, great professors (at least in my major), friendly students, safe as all get out. Negatives: nothing to do (for 4 years you will just be sitting around on weekends going to class on weekdays), town is small and not a lot to do in the Willamsport area, our campus tries to plan events but it isn't. In all, if you come here with hopes to party you are mistaken this school is about just that school work (which is fine we are an accredited private school). It has its ups and downs I'm just giving you a look at both sides. | Campus Aesthetics: A+, Social Life: F | | | |
