Though MONTCO is a great school interms of academics
And opening a gate to a 4-year school, I did not like their
Business office set up. There was NEVER a straight answer
About needed information from any of the staff and I found myself
Being run round and round in circles before I came to the needed
Conclusion and once I was there I would literally look back and just
Wonder what all the running around was for, could they not just give me
A straight answer to begin with? Why do they insist on the difficulty.
For example, I had a payment due from fall of 2012 that I knew NOTHING
about and they didnt feel the need to gove me notice until about 2 weeks
Before graduation. What if I hadn't had that kind of money? They had a year to give me notice! I paid it off and now that I am trying to transfer to another university they are holding my transcripts claiming that it wasn't paid off even though I showed them my receipt and I called them after I paid it to have them confirm that it was paid. Like I said, wonderful school. Amazing teachers, from my experience, who love to help you in any way they can but the business office is like torture and they really need to work on making it easier for people to get things done. And would it kill them to update your account once something is paid for or completed so that when there's a different person meaning the desk they don't make you go through the same agonizing process ALL-OVER-AGAIN!

I hold a 3.7 GPA upon entering this program and not have a 3.4, however to maintain this GPA was quite difficult. I am an adult student who had to quite a part-time job to participate in this program. That was not the problem the problem is how the course is taught....it is self-directed and self-taught for the most part. You complete these lengthy questions and "go over" the answers in seminar, where you learn bits and pieces of course work from the answers of other students. The lectures are a joke, a power point that an instructor reads. This course should be on-line , the only saving grace has been the clinical experiences. I would NOT recommend this program to anyone.

RADIOGRAPHY PROGRAM--
positive & advice---
This was an absolute amazing program. The professors and equipment aided in my training a huge amount. If I had to repeat the whole experience over I would. And the cost is unbelievably worth it. I've spoken with students from well known and popular colleges and universities and MCCC came on top. Just because the name of a college is 'the top of the charts', doesn't mean all of their program/majors live up to it. Obviously, there are some little things I do not agree with-ei. some projects, busy work, some times the speed within the class room. But disagreeing with certain things happens, still is worth it though. Good luck with whatever your choose!!!ash
