completely awful school. I transferred out of Moore after my first year. the school is EXTREMELY small with very little to do. the people who attend the school are cliquy and self-absorbed and the one friend I was able to make transferred out of Moore after the first semester because it is that bad of a school. save your money for a better school because Moore is not worth the $50,000 a year!! the schools Fashion Department has mediocre equipment and half of the sewing machines are broken and are only home sewing machines anyway. the school is a joke, don't waist your time and money by going to this school!!!

I am going to be completely blunt. If you are looking for a real college experience academically and SOCIALLY, then do not come to this college. It is not worth the time or money. I honestly have no idea why this college is so expensive, I don't think it was very hard to get into. The only reason I chose this school was because my parents heard how "prestigious" and "challenging" it is, so I was pressured to go here. Yeah, I got a scholarship. I do think my portfolio was pretty good, but I had a 2.6 in high school, and a 1800 on my SATs. I handed my application in a week before the deadline. I think this shows how easy it is to get in / get a scholarship. This school is more like an institute. I'm transferring next year. I'm getting all A's and B's in my classes, it is not challenging. The only positive thing about this school is Pia Deinhardt, she's an amazing teacher. The food here sucks. It tastes good, but ever since I started eating it I've been having major stomach problems and I'm breaking out like crazy. I've been pooping five times a day or more... It's more like having diarrhea than pooping. I've had to miss classes because I couldn't leave the bathroom. I go home on the weekends because I hate it here so much, and when I eat the food from home my stomach feels so much better. The only reason I haven't killed myself yet, is because I've made a couple good friends, and I have the hope of transferring to a better school. There are too many girls here. I didn't think that would be a problem before I came here, but it has become one.... too much estrogen. I would have rather stayed home for a year and gone to community college because now I'm going to transfer and my parents are out over 30,000 dollars. This school is a hell hole and a rip off. I no longer have a social life.

Quite Bright
Do not go to Moore College of Art and Design. This is a bad time to go to this institution! The financial aid and business office will not treat you as a person. All they see you as a number with money. The college is too expensive- $50,000 a year! The college lost all the good/well-known professors....some left and others retired. DO NOT GO TO THIS COLLEGE! There are better colleges in the Philadelphia area that are more affordable.
