Messiah College has done a nice job of maintaining its Christian integrity in light of academia. I thoroughly enjoyed my time there and I still maintain relationships with many of my fellow alumni and professors. The professors were very committed, the campus was beautiful, and the students were generally bright and motivated. The only downside was location. Its position in a smaller rural town about 10 miles away from a city is fairly frustrating for anyone from a large city or metropolitan area. Messiah's reputation carries well in the Christian community nationwide, but in a secular setting it has a strong regional reputation.

I have one year left at Messiah and have really enjoyed the school, people, area, and opportunities given to me. As is the story with any college, what you put into Messiah is what you'll get out of it. There are definately rules and expectations of Messiah students, so if you're not interested in that probably shouldnt look at this school, or many other Christian schools. My eyes have really been opened to racial issues and equality since my freshman year. Race and gender are issues often touched upon. Messiah has been a great place to figure out who I am, without having to deal with a lot of the other crap that happens on a larger scale at bigger schools.

Wow!! What an awesome school! I have been here two years now. I am slightly older than other students in my class (I waited a few years between high school and Messiah) and I still fit in. As with any school, if you do not take the time to meet other people and interact, than you may feel left out. That is the nature of society in general. There are so many activities on campus and off. Your social life here will probably be one of the best ever. The academics are awesome, the facutly and staff great, and even the campus is pleasing to the eye.
