 | Quite Bright | millerville is an alright school.. its really small in terms of population and campus size. The school accepts pretty much everyone that applies and the majority of the students here are not to academically motivated, just trying to get in and get out with a degree while doing the least amount of work as possible. The class sizes are small, they kind of reminded me of high school classes. The campus isn't really anything special. A lot of people like the pond when they first tour the school but you will end up hating it once you have to continuously walk through duck poop to get to your classes, and on rainy days when it floods the entire area. Don't be fooled by the dining hall either. They serve amazing food on tour and orientation days, but once the semester actually starts the food gets pretty tasteless and repetitive. The biggest downfall to millersville is that it is in the middle of nowhere. Unless you have a car, you will be bored out of your mind. Most students go home on weekends so the campus becomes a ghost town, i have literally walked down the middle of the street multiple times with now signs of cars or other people at all. For the people that do stay on campus, the only thing you will find to do is drink and go out to parties that cost $5 to get into, which are not even good most of the time. | Perceived Campus Safety: A+, Social Life: F | | | |

| | Quite Bright | I love Millersville! I was unsure about attending, however after visitations and talking to student, I decided to attend. Now, I'm so glad I chose this University and wouldn't change my decision for the world! | Education Quality: A+, Campus Maintenance: A- | | | |

| | Quite Bright | | The department is alright. Varied viewpoints. Talk to the faculty during office hours, they're very approachable. Distribution requirements are a little difficult to achieve. The university itself is a pain. There are very strict general education requirements, with a lot of 'busy work'. It is extremely frustrating dealing with most administrative offices - usually everything is treated like its the students fault and most administrators act like they're doing you a favor just by doing their job. Granted - some are FANTASTIC, but most are very frustrating to deal with. Social life in town is a joke - there are a couple pizza joints, and a pathetic excuse for a bar. Lancaster is a few miles down the road, but its not a nice city.If you're from the area, and want an affordable, middle-of-the-road education without going far from home. If you're from out of state, or looking for something prestigious, look elsewhere. | Perceived Campus Safety: A, Individual Value: D | | | |
