Not so bright
Bethlehem is a dump of a town. Moravian needs major upgrades to campus buldings. My experience here was so-so; I expected more out of a small college than this, especially for the money. Don't waste your time or money here- better values elsewhere.

DO NOT COME TO THIS SCHOOL. within the last WEEK, they have announced that all students will be FORCED to live on campus for all 4 years of college, and will be FORCED to pay for a FULL meal plan and FULL room and board. ALL STUDENTS MUST LIVE on campus or will be fined and forced to pay room and board. I chose to come to this school for academics, athletics and housing options. now, after two years of being at school, they have announced that we all will be forced to live on campus from now on, and that lacrosse will no longer be offered at this school along with a number of classes and majors. The administration here has no regard for the students that go here. earlier today the president of this college walked out on a meeting with the student athletes because he could not handle the questions that were being asked. DO NOT PAY 40k per year to come to a school that will cut programs at their will. it is not worth it.

Moravian was a great experience. It is small and the professors are approachable. You are taught by the professor, not a teacher's assistant. I felt comfortable joining teachers for coffee and conversation. After graduating, I went onto Lehigh for a Masters degree. I loved the town so much I stayed (I was from NJ). I have gone on to take additional graduate classes at Moravian and am involved in alumni groups. I took advantage of travel abroad options and still decided to stay in Bethlehem. Hope this was helpful!
