there is tons of beurocracy at muhlenberg. At the end of my freshman year I realized that this school does not help you to attain opportunities, it hassles you. The study abroad office and housing people are extremely rude and condescending. The school is an extension of highschool and out of my first year seminar class roughly 90% said they did not like it here. The campus is extremely isolated and kids unless interested in theatre etc, are generally unhappy or dissatisfied with their college experience. Also general requirements prove to be a waste of time both for your education and sanity. I will say that the faculty is extremely dedicated and approachable. they are the only reason in addition to study abroad that I am remaining at this institution.

1st year Chemistry major. Member of a sports team. Everyone is friendly. Small school so not too much private time. No place to hide if you want to just blend in. Profs have been great but course work is difficult. If you want a good education and are prepared to work hard, it's for you.
