This is my first year at Muhlenberg and I can honestly say, i can't wait to transfer. i do not feel like i fit in here, and the lack of diversity and the emphasis on religion is confining me in an environment with very closed-minded people.

The classes are not challenging at all, and I feel like I learned more in high school than I have here since the beginning of this year. And when it comes to the social life, there is very little to do. I am a very social person and when I checked out a few clubs and went into Allentown with the shuttle, I was like "woah what am i doing here?" Theres nothing to do off-campus and I would rate the clubs as a C+.....you don't have anything to turn to on-campus if you don't enjoy the town.I strongly recommend you rethink applying here.

Freshman year will be the worst year of your life. If you are able to make it through that year with out dropping out of school, things start to turn around although it might just be in comparison to how awful freshman year is. The dorms suck and they make you live in them for at least the first 2 years. Basic things such as internet access is very weak. All around, unless they are giving you a lot of money to come here, I would go almost anywhere else.

terrible faculty overall exept a hand full good professors. dorms are terrible and they only show visitors the freshmen air conditioned dorm. No other dorms have ac until you are at least a junior and probably a senior. Little to nothing to do on and off campus. Non existent health center and terrible mail room. dorm bathrooms do not get cleaned on the weekends and are disgusting. dining hall food is edible at best. few to little other options for food and the few options they have are incredible over priced. dining hall closes way to early often at 7. students are required to have a meal plan even if they do not plan on using one. non existent greek life. no diversity. terrible advising programs.
