Not so bright
I've always been a mediocre student- It took me three years to decide my major. I went with psychology, and I'm so grateful. I have had many hardships, but the psych. faculty has been more than supportive, understanding, and caring. Although I haven't had the opportunity to get to know all of the professors, the majority that I do know have always been kind and encouraging. They foster learning, and take genuine interest in our understanding of the material.
Aside from my major, most of the faculty and staff I've come into contact with are also very supportive. The administrative offices are surprisingly efficient and helpful as well. Anytime I've had an issue with billing, registration, financial aid, etc., there was always help readily available.
Education Quality: A+, Campus Aesthetics: B+

Average
I went here for two years. The quality of the education here is decent. It's not terribly challenging, but it's not a blowoff school either. If you have a brain and you put forth some effort then you will succeed. The weather is horrible. If you like overcast skies and snow that comes up to your hips then this is the city for you. I should also note that campus life is boring. Everybody leaves on the weekends. All there is to do is drink. When I went the guy to girl ratio was literally 20-1. There would be days when I swear I didn't even see one girl.

I'm glad I left. It was a boring and miserable college experience.

Quite Bright
Please do not go here to Penn state Behrend it is a huge mistake. The college basically sucks away your soul and leaves you feeling empty and alone. there is no one there on the weekends, and the teaching staff think they are all mighty over the students. also the advisers that penn state behrend has are terrible, the worst i have heard of and seen. but the girl guy ratio got better it is i like 3 guys to 1 girl. things are looking up. also the campus is nice when the weather is nice which is 2 months out of the college year.
Perceived Campus Safety: A+, University Resource Use: F

There is not much campus life here. If you want to get off of campus hopefully you know someone with a car or have a car.
