after 4 years @ PSU, i would definently do it all over again, they key to having a great time and taking advantage of everything there is to do, is to be outgoing. With 40 thousand kids here you cant just sit in you dorm or appartment talking on instant messenger. Too many people complain there is no big city around, but in my opinion state college has all the pros of a big city with none of the downsides.

Many of the proplr who talk negatively of this place do so becuse they are either overly arrogant and like to complain or brag abot the BMW their mommy bought them, or shut-ins complaing because girls don like to talk to losers that only study and play computer games.come see what its all about here, well worth the trip

Terrible university to be in if you're a big city person - People come to class wearing loose baggy pyjamas and slippers , totally grubbed up look! --- the uglier u look, the cooler you are ! - if you look good, you are abnormal!

Too much football so if ur not into it, its boaring!
I transfered out to Boston University and could not tell you how good its been ! - Penn state was misery!

The public transport is terrible , takes a lifetime if you want to get to anywhere by greyhound - u HAVE TO have a car if you need to do anything! - i found the people very strange and were just into their own small little towns and didnt seem to know about anything else .

If you're a cool big city person and want to hand around cool people and see the good things in life, then this place really sux!

Check out the class size -
Economics - 400 a class
Accounting - 400 a class
Psychology - 375 a class!!!!!!!!!!
I MEAN GIMME A BREAK , how do u expect to study with soo many people with u!
AND SOME SOPHOMORE BUSINESS CLASSES - 800 a class!
So u get 0 value for ur money if your an out of state or international student!Lots of racism everywhere on campus ,I DO NOT RECCOMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE!
