 | Quite Bright | I absolutely love SJU. It was not my first choice, but I am so glad the other schools didn't work out because now I'm here. The students and staff are really friendly. I had no trouble making friends. The way freshman orientation is run really helps you get to know people you'll actually see around campus. The freshman dorms are pretty good for dorms. I live in McShain which I love, we have walk in closets and built in desks and shelving. The classes are challenging, but not overly so. I did well first semester (3.5 gpa) but, I did work pretty hard. YOU WILL LOVE SJU! | Education Quality: A+, Useful Schoolwork: A- | | | |

| | Quite Bright | SJU is a great university that is failed by some of the ignorant and snooty students (see: business school). The school itself, campus, various programs, and surrounding city are enough to make up for the mostly terrible student body. | Campus Aesthetics: A+, Social Life: C+ | | | |

| | Quite Bright | Although I agree that a lot of students who attend SJU are preppy, ignorant, and self centered, there are a lot of students who are friendly, approachable and open minded. I feel that every school has those people who aren't worth your time, so I don't see why Saint Joes gets such a bad rep. I love the school for the area, the academics, and the most amazing people I've ever met. I am in choir, I work at a job on campus, and am invovled with Psychology as my major. Through these venues, I've met great people and had great experiences. If you do not try to get involved on campus, then of course you won't enjoy it. SJU has a lot of stuck up kis, yes, but it also has a lot of people worth getting to know, which is why I stuck around. Though our music and arts department is small, I have enjoyed time spent with all people in choir and drama and can honestly say if I were to choose all over again, I'd pick SJU in a heartbeat. | Education Quality: A+, Perceived Campus Safety: C- | | | |
