Be prepared for SRU to mess up your courses, financial aid, or anything else that you can think of. They won't fix the problems either. Some professors are horrible teachers. I did have a few professors that I liked though. Basically, look at Slippery Rock only if you have no other options financially.

I am a freshman, and all I can say is I will not be returning for another year. I was contimplating about leaving for the second semester. There is nothing to do in this town, and unless you like to drink and party everyday, well that is all there is to do here. And everything is on a hill and it rains just about everyday. I know many people who aren't returning for another year at this place. If you are considering Slippery Rock, do yourself a favor and just reconsider. There is very little student involvement in anything and the food is awful, and not much of a selection. If you come from a big city or even a small city, I would not advise this place. If you come from a rural nothing town, you might like it here. But I will be glad to be rid of this burden.
