I seriously hate Temple. When I visited, it seemed great, there were lots of students out and about and it looked like a great, fun place to be. However, once arriving, it didn't turn out so well for me. It's extremely hard to meet people because everyone is so cliquey. Everyone hangs out with friends from high school and is completely close-minded to meeting new people. I guess this is a good thing for me so I have time to focus on my studies, but I definitely don't expect to meet life-long friends here, and I'm miserable most of the time. If you want a personal college experience, go to a smaller school, not Temple.

Go to this school if you already know what to do finish your major and just need to take the classes. do not go to this school if you need help finding a major and picking your classes. science programs are competitive so do not go here for pharmacy etc. it is hard to make friends in this school and hard to join clubs because hrs clubs meet are during ur class times (mon-fri 9-5pm) so try to get a job at night or night and evenings classes if you can

Do not come in as undeclared. They are no help in helping you decide on a good major. When you do find a major you're interested in the counseling faculty of that major acts as though you are bothering them by asking them questions about the major. They are not helpful in speaking to you and telling you what is needed, they just point you to a website with information and do not try to explain anything to you. I have a sociology minor and it's the same way with their department. I thought it was just the college of liberal arts, but I have friends in the college of education and they feel the same way. The advisors do not try to help you pick proper classes so you can graduate on time. They want you to stay as long as possible to pay the ridiculous tuition that the education you're receiving is not even worth. If I knew before I entered what I know now, I would've went to Penn.
