Run. Please. If you have any hope of maintaining your sanity, do not come to Ursinus. I'm a Resident Advisor and I can say from person experience that this school is terrible. Yes, the professors are good. Everything else is terrible. High Sexual Assault rates, High alcohol abuse rates, High Drug Use, Low Student Moral. Only 1-2 60 year old+ Campus Safety officers watch over the entire student body. Tour guides and student "models" are provided with preppy clothing and paid to lie about their successes. There is nothing to do in the surrounding community. There is no easy access to Philadelphia. (It takes about 2-3 hours to get to Center City. You have to take 3 buses and a commuter train.) RUN. Please. DON'T COME HERE.

I wish I'd just stayed in Kentucky and gone to the community collage!
the only difference is that this place is a community college that got all dressed up and wanted to impress everyone. No one believes this school is more than what it actually is except for the instructors.

There's nothing to do ANYWHERE around the school, except listen to how everyone else has nothing to do and how much that sucks and how they shouldnt have to deal with this.

They also act like this was supposed to be some super, diamond in the rough college, and it's the greatest injustice in the world that they got tricked into coming here.

They havent shut up about for the 3 ******* years I've been here!
OK everyone I get it, you suck, the school sucks, and YOU ALL THINK EVERYONE ELSE SUCKS.
Yay HIGHSCHOOL!Grow up.

This is a high school, plain and simple. The cliques here will absolutely make your head spin. Lots of time is spent in the dorms (even if you are extremely involved) and yes, its true that UC students party thursday-saturday. That was a lot of fun at first, but trust me, the parties can get monotonous...Collegeville should not qualify as a town..its a series of strip malls and creepy townies. Dont get me wrong, UC isn't all bad. There is a very "family" feel to it..you know everything about everyone (which can be a good thing or a bad thing, depending on who you are) and people are generally really nice and outgoing. The academics are not as good as the hype, I'm sorry...CIE is a miserable waste of time. If you're not in a sport here or in greek life...you'll probably be bored out of your mind. Ursinus...well, theres really not that much to it, at least that's what it feels like.
