Attending Valley Forge was one of the worst decisions of my life. The faculty quality is horrible (consider the fact that NON of the professors are published in any academic journals or have books published). The faculty is really nice and friendly, but if you want a proper education go somewhere else.

I attended for two years and then transferred out. Best decision of my life. I now have a B.A. from a real University. Do not go to this college if you value academic rigor at all. The majority of the professors assign joke homework that doesn't interact with current scholarship. If you ever expect to go to graduate school you will be grossly unprepared.

The readings we did for most classes were fun, but in retrospect had nothing to do with modern scholarship. Only when I left the school did I realize how unprepared I was for attending a real college. Don't expect to have any challenging classes. The classes are all easy and require little effort to pass. Paper writing is a joke, if you write a paper that is semi-coherent you will probably get an A in any class. I never had one professor help me become a better academic writer.

Do not expect to have a diversity of classes available to you. Don't even expect you teacher to know what they are teaching also. I took a Business math class while I was there and (I swear I'm not lying) the teacher would come to class and tell us "I really don't understand this and I'm not sure why they gave me this class". They will often have teachers teach classes that they aren't proficient in.

Valley Forge overworks their professors and doesn't give them any time to publish (News Flash, teaching 5 classes a semester is NOT the norm for any professor).

The majority of the student body is about as bland as could be. They are unoriginal and do not think outside of the box. If you consider yourself anything but mindless drone, do not go to this school.

This is one of the most unhealthy colleges in existence. I can't say this enough. DO NOT GO TO VFCC. If you want a Christian education go to Liberty or Evangel. You can find a better education at a community college. Please stay away from this school, it's too expensive to go and brings way to big a headache.

Overall it's a decent college with decent programs. However, I must warn you not to let your guard down when you go. The faculty was great and the group of friends that I made were great but the overall quality of the students left much to be desired. I ended up having to work at the college cafeteria in order to pay for school and many of the peers that I served were downright rude and disrespectful just because I worked there. There were a large number of fakes there. Of course this can change year-to-year and there are some nicer students but also those who put up fake faces so just be careful in that regard.

The dorms are mediocre at best, they are old and in need of renovation. There is some speculation among us cynical seniors that the administration is becoming much to stingy and numbers-focused (worried about money and getting enrollment up) and they are starting to lose focus about what the college is for.

However, if you are willing to look past its flaws and if you don't let people get to you and you feel as if this is where you want to go, go for it. The majority of the professors are great and the programs are good.

VFCC is a joke of a school. Professors and students are leaving like crazy and it's no wonder why. A school this closed minded and ignorant cannot expect to survive in the world of modern higher education. Go to Evangel is you're stuck on A/G school, or go to Liberty if you want a solid, structured education, or go to Messiah if you want an academically challenging experience. Just don't go here. Unless, of course, you want to be babied and talked down to while insufficiently educated professors attempt to cover up for the fact that the school is losing ground quickly by discussing the power of the spirit like is it exclusive for the use of those in the Assemblies of God.

They don't offer a single legitimate math or science class, so if you want to be a well-rounded student, don't go here.

I would ONLY recommend VFCC if you're a dead-set A/G student who has a desire to regularly attend chapel without the burden of difficult classes.
