founded in 1842, is a private, church-affiliated, comprehensive university. Programs
are offered through the Colleges of Commerce and Finance, Engineering,
Liberal Arts and Sciences, and Nursing. Its 252-acre campus is
located in Villanova, 12 miles west of Philadelphia. Villanova was
founded in 1842 by the priests and brothers of the
Order of St. Augustine and offers a wide variety of
degree programs through four colleges: the College of Liberal Arts
and Sciences, the Villanova School of Business, the College of
Engineering, and the College of Nursing. The University is a
