Not so bright
I am a Disabled Veteran, going to school on the post 9/11 GI Bill. Now, for the second time, this college has FUBAR'd my attendance, resulting in me not recieving the funds I require to be able to pay for rent/bills/fuel to travel to and from school etc. every time this has happened, the blame is either put on an instructor, or they close early because the end of the month happens on a weekend. Tuition is extremely high for what you learn. Their "idea" of job placement is to send every person that could apply for a job in a folder to the prospective employer. You are a number to them, and not much more. The Financial Aid Dept. takes their sweet time to fix a pay problem for you, usually up to 2-3 weeks, but wont hesitate to RIP YOU OUT OF CLASS the day there is a discrepancy on their records if you owe money to them, even if its THEIR fault. Instructors are great for the most part in the Automotive section, with a few that just dont care. Administrator for Automotive is useless, he was to blame for the first discrepancy in my pay. No communication between the depts in this instituition. EG campus has all the bells and whistles, automotive and marine buildings cant even get a decent selection of food. we make due with a catering truck that is simply disgusting and serves cold half cooked food. For the money, you could go somewhere else and get two degrees that will carry much more weight in the working world and deal with a college that will respect and listen to your opinions. Overall, just a poor experience, and cannot wait to get my associates so i can leave this terrible place of "Higher Learning" behind me. I cannot describe enough how terrible this school is. PLEASE STAY AWAY. Save your money and find a better college.
Perceived Campus Safety: A+, Useful Schoolwork: F
