Well, let me start out with that I've made many great friends at Providence. But my time here wasn't always great. My freshman year I had 2 roommates and the room was a little cramped, but I did have a good time anyway. My sophomore year was a lot different, I got an apartment, which was lucky for being a sophomore, and I lived with 3 other girls. I suffered from serious depression and anorexia sophomore year becauseI felt like I did not fit in. The girls were very snobby and wealthy (I mean, owning their own private jet rich), and I felt as though I did not belong. My junior year got better though. I would not come here if I had to choose again. It's really not worth the money. All this school is is a school filled with rich, snobby kids that are all the same and preppy. There are many nice people, but they are definitely all upper-class and have hardly worked a day in their life. The academics are okay, but I wouldn't say the staff is the most helpful. And if you don't drink, do not come here. It will be very hard to fit in. I like to have a good time a few days a week and so does everyone else, there's limited people who don't drink.

Look...this is a completely honest review. I have only been on campus for 10 days now but trust me when I say I can tell you multiple things about this school. The most prominent of which is if you do not drink DO NOT COME HERE. I dont drink, and I dont care if others do but a realistic percentage would be about 95% of the school goes out friday AND saturday nights to a house off campus. The faculty knows and is fully aware and do nothing. They seem to have given up on any form of prevention or alternate activities. On the other hand the kids here are very nice and respect every one else. Everyone says hi to eachother wether you know them or not and it really is just a friendly campus. Both girls and guys are attractive. The gym is very good and the food is actually above average and offers a variety of food. However the students are extremly clique-y and hang out with other people who drink, play sports etc. The girls are very loose for a Catholic school...within 10 days multiple guys have had girls in their room throughout the night. Like I said their nice overall but not very accepting of others that dont drink or like them. Extremly preppy. There are events on campus that are pretty fun but once again virtually all the kids that go are drunk. I mean it has a bar on campus...if your into that scene this is the perfect school for you. If I was a "drinker" this school would be downright awesome. But for sober students the school is still above average but not "fun".

PC is a great environment, I am a first year student and have had very little trouble adapting to life here at PC. While it takes some time (for me at least) to get used to the party scene (lots of drinking on the weekends) if you look you WILL find other things to do around campus. McFail's the on campus bar is a great place to watch games on TV and the PC basketball team is a lot of fun to watch...season tickets are a must! All and all Friar town is a great place to attend college, I recommend it
