PROS: The academics at Roger Williams University is for the most part well worth the price. The Professors for the most part are eager assist and come from a variety of backgrounds and experiences.CONS: Many of the dormitory facilities lack proper maintenance. The facility maintenance staff uses the band aid fix and never properly fixes leaky pipes, chipping or pealing paint, leaky windows, toilets that leak into the living area below, many of the dorm facilities have severe mold issues. This is all in one of their newer dormitory facilities. The Facilities Manager, Vice President and President are all aware however choose to ignore the complaints from both students and parents. Student Health is not a high priority at Roger Williams University!

DO NOT ATTEND THIS SCHOOL. I'm in my sophomore year and this school is a complete joke. Academics require no work. I had a 3.3 GPA in high school and I have a 4.0 here.

The social life is also completely lacking, Sure, there are random dorm room parties of like 6 people now and then. There are no significant gatherings for social life and RAs take every chance they get to stop you from making noise. Nothing exciting happens on campus. There is a group called CEN that puts on campus events. Most of these events are on friday nights at 8 and are usually some crappy youtube star or a magician (what are we 12?). Just shows you what your tuition goes to.I'm currently transferring schools because this university is a joke. A waste of money (did I mention it is expensive?). Save yourself some time and trouble and completely skip this school in your school searching.

I've been to and visited many nice college campuses around the country, but this one did not compare to any unique college environment, it is very lacking, small and bland distasteful campus, just well kept because that is where a lot of students' money goes for. They try to pass off as a real 4 year university, but it is actually a bit worse than junior colleges, of which it was, before they got a hold of more money. Teachers can be decent, though some are rather ignorant, and less diverse in thinking, but they are a bit easy but also highly not taken advantage of, they have great credentials but it is wasted on disinterested and rather slow, narrow-minded, and for lack of a better word, dumb students. The students, no matter where you look are all lacking as people, even the ones self-proclaimed as intellects or 'interesting' are rather 2 dimensional and poorly-educated or informed. It seems that their social statuses fuel on pompousness and a safe boring-ness. This school will bore those to death who are looking for traditional university experiences. RWU accepts nearly everyone, in an effort to expand the school, get more money, and try to become more popular. But nearly more than half of each class transfers out, after experiencing what the school really is. The conduct offices are very corrupt and disregards student privacy and appropriate measures. A degree here is wasted, no one knows what the F RWU is, and unless you want a local job in the state of RI with the lowest employment rate, or basically anywhere in the boring new england area, then RWU is perfect for you.
