I'm a freshman right now and I really didn't like this university. I went because they gave me a lot of money and good financial aid. Everyone who goes here is usually very rich. Not many people went to public school their whole life like me. There's absolutely nothing to do at night other than sketchy parties in basements or even grosser Providence. This is only a good fit if you plan on playing a sport if you're a guy, or if you're a girl who likes to hook up with guys who play sports so you can party. The education was fine, not seriously hard, but enough. Most of the professors are very clear and understanding, some have trouble with English. This is a very condescending school that treats you (in terms of rules) like you're 12. Don't be blinded by a nice campus, think twice before choosing to go here. I'm not rich, I don't shop at true religion and juicy, but everyone else at this school does. It's rare to find someone without a Burberry coat or wellington boots. This is not a school meant for middle class people who are going based on the financial aid and scholarships they got. It is a wrong fit for those of us (myself included) who shop at Target for clothes rather than Anthropolgie. You're better off going someone else. It's too small, too snotty and people are extremely self-absorbed. Good luck if you choose to go here.

Not so bright
I came to Salve Regina (Hello Queen) University hoping to see a queen. I never found one. I don't know why the school is obsessed with this queen, there is not a queen in the Catholic religion. I was even more disappointed when i found out there isn't even a damn queen on campus! i went looking for the holy queen to say hello to her, but that cu*t was'nt anywhere to be found! i looked everywhere (and the campus isnt too big anyway) but i never found her. i HATE salve regina!!let the queen(regina) ((even though she can't be found) bless you!!!!

I'm a sophomore this year, and I just finished filling out transfer applications. I decided to come back this year to give Salve another chance but it failed again. I loved the area and the beautiful buildings but those things get old fast. There is absolutely nothing to do at this school. You can't party or anything unless you're on a sports team which sucks. I thought it would be great to take a break from sports in college but I was wrong. Everyone is obsessed with the sub-par division III athletics. I can't wait to get out of here, a huge majority of students are extremely snotty and no one is friendly. There are no activities, you can't ever party on campus because the RA's are like babysitters, literally. Last year there were rounds every 2 hours on the dot. Its like a prison, you can't ever have fun. The food is absolutely disgusting, there is only ONE dining hall that never has any variety it's terrible. Salve is extremely expensive which is another downside. Salve Regina is like high school gone way wrong, don't bother applying
