Never get into the CS department in URI. No well-defined curriculum and most of the profs are not well informed. Horrible, horrible studying here and spending so much money.

Although my Department is fantastic, this school could only be called a University by the broadest and most ambigous sense of the word. I would give my anything to make sure my child never attended an undergraduate institution like this one.
