Instead I go the run around and in debt. They basically took all my money. I never knew what a refund check was til I transfered schools. In fall of 2010 they accepted more freshmen than they had room for. So what did they do? Of course they wanted the freshmen's money and they already had the upperclassman's so they placed freshmen in upper classmen dorms and placed us in hotels until they could make room for us. Mind you it took MONTHS before we got a real dorm of some sort. The shuttles are a fucking joke and lets not get started on the caf... this place is ratchet DO NOT ATTEND BENEDICT COLLEGE!!!!!!! The dorm's are horrible. They are always pulling fire alarms, the bathrooms are nasty, the RHA's arent helpful at all. The teachers barely speak english and you cant understand the work because they arent in control of their classes. there is no opposite sex visitation or you will be fined. For freshmen there is a 12 o'clock curfew and there is a fine for breaking that. The staff is always saying that we are adults but they never treat us like adults. This is more like a high school instead of a college. OHHH yea and its next to the hood. I don't feel safe at BC and i recommend no one to attend BEnedict. This was the worst mistake of my life....BC BC OHHH NO OHHH NO I HATE BC...!!! HAHAHAHA Preparedness: -, Reputation: - Have a Question? Worst campus security in the world, something like the keystone cops. They're great at locking students up for "Breach of peace" and marijuana posession, which is great and all but when your dorm room gets broken into multiple times, campus police...im sorry campus security is nowhere to be found. I'm an out-of-state student transfering for these reasons. Why am I traveling 400+ miles to come to Benedict, spending all of this money, and my safety has to be questioned? That's unnecessary stress on not only the student but also the parent of the student. I'll take my money and go elsewhere. Education Quality: A, Campus Aesthetics: D- Have a Question?
