If you are looking for a great social life, then I would look else where. There are plenty of other Christian universites out there with a lot to offer. Don't assume that this is your only option. The structure helped me to develop character. But individual thought is not valued and often thought of as a threat. The absolute power of those in authority is troublesome, especially when restrictive rules are put in place in the name of God and the Bible (though the Bible never addresses the specifics). I'm sure I would have learned more in computer science if I would have attended a better known school. I think most of the professors are very knowledgable. They are very open to working with you when you have problems. The rules are very strict, so don't go there thinking it will be easy. I think you should make it a matter of prayer and make a commitment to finish at BJU if you start rather than going in blindly.
