I love this school very much, it may

I love this school very much, it may be because I have made some wonderful friends here. But Coastal has a great atmosphere and close knit community. Night life can be pretty fun depending on the weekends and weather. A lot of people go home on the weekends at least the dorm parking lots are Empty friday- sunday. Even though most people are wonderful, many students are from Jersey and are Obnoxious!!! If you love being active and going to the beach Coastal is great. It is a VERY active community, people are always at the gym, jogging around campus, or partake in a club sport.

The beach is probably the best part! When it is warm 64th street can have up to 300 students crowding the beach drinking and having a good time. Its a giant beach party every weekend. (be sure to bring a volleyball to coastal!)

My recommendation is come here if you are unsure of what you want to major in or this is the only school you got into and transfer after a year. I wouldn't recommend graduating from Coastal. Plus the school EATS your money!! They are fairly over priced for the education it offers. Come here if you just want to have fun and find your barrings your first year of school but if your serious about school and you don't drink, swim and party DONT come here.

I attended Coastal for 1 year

I attended Coastal for 1 year. i honestly did not enjoy my time there as were the students very closeminded, the faculty unhelpful and the city dirty adn below the poverty level. At first it was fun being in MB and enjoying everything but after a while it just became unbearable and the city really is disgusting not to mention most of the students come from the north ( NY, NJ, Del) and are complete morons. I would not suggest this school to someone is is openminded and a free thinker

Coastal is a good school, If your from

Coastal is a good school, If your from in-state and ready to work hard. A degree from this school will not take you very far if your not in the top of your class, seeking grad school, or developed a major internship over your time here. I will graduate in May busted my ass and now have the opportunity to go to almost any law school i desire, with a substantial amount of scholarship. If your a business major willing to work, this school is for you. If your another major you are fucked. This school is not top notch and you will end up working at a restraunt upon graduation as many people who graduate from CCU do! The business college has great up and coming prestige! My advice if this is the only school you got into or so: Go to CCU your first year, do exceptionally well (this isn't terribly difficult) and transfer with above a 3.5 to wherever you want to.BE ADVISED!!! If you don't think you can deal with having a large majority of the students being JERSEY SHORE WANNABEES don't go here! They trample the campus and the trend has gotten worse each year i have been here! Needless to say it is not too hard to show out at this school and find it much easier to attend a grad school! Im in the top 15% of my class with a GPA of 3.57! At any other school i MIGHT be in the top 25% at best!
