 | Super Brilliant | I cannot imagine going to any other undergraduate school! Now that I'm at a large research university, I realize how much a person can benefit from a small liberal arts college, a place where you cannot and will not "fall through the cracks." I would not be able to excel as a woman in mathematics, a field traditionally dominated by men, were it not for the nurturing learning environment at Converse. | Starting Job: Graduate Teaching Assistant, Preparedness: A+, Reputation: A+ | | |

| | Quite Bright | Choosing a college that I believed would be a good fit for me was extremely difficult but never for one minute have I regretted my decision to attend Converse. I feel extremely lucky to have had all of the opportunity that Converse affords its students. Although the value of the experiences that I had, both personally and in the classroom are impossible to quantify, I can look back with complete confidence and say that Converse has made me the person I am today. Converse is widely and well respected as an excellent liberal arts school. The campus is beautiful and it is located in what is essentially a "college town" with 4 other higher learning institutions in the immediate area and a dozen or more within a 90 minute radius. I am proud of the response I get when I tell people that I am a graduate of Converse College and would recommend it without hesitation to any young woman who I felt was worthy of attending. | Preparedness: A, Reputation: A+ | | |

| | Quite Bright | My Converse experience challenged and enabled me. I did things I never thought posible - like working for a national political campiagn, having poetry published, and earning a double major. I was involved in more than I would have dreamed - like student government, Young Life leadership, and a strong academic setting. I saw things I never dreamed of - a presidental candidate on our campus, the Netherlands, Russia, France, and Kuwait. Plus, I loved the town - I've lived here since graduation. But, more than anything - Converse gave me incredible friends and a strong sense of honor and integrity.Visit Converse - or any college you are considering. Only you will know that it's right for you. | Starting Job: Intern, Preparedness: A, Reputation: B | | |
