Not so bright
I'm a first year student at CSU. I would have to say that this school is okay the food isn't that great and the dorms are roomy, but they need some remodeling. It's very expensive and I personally as a Christian don't feel the Christian environment at all!!! This is a great school academically though, but i prefer a school that will help me grow spiritually and this isn't the place for me. To secularized!!!!

I went to CSu for 2 years. The first year was alright. The financial aid office isnt dependable. You have to keep going and going to get business done. The area is very violent. When I was there for my second year, we were on lockdown three times in 4 months. Twice in october and once in september. All three involved robberies and guns. If it werent in north charleston, it would be an excellent school. The tuition is a little costly to be such a small school. The classes are relatively medium for 15-25 students. Overall its a great school for and education but not for putting your life on the line when you walk out of your room.

Quite Bright
I loved my experience at CSU. I completed my undergrad there and was challenged daily. Now in my Master's program I can see what an amazing education I received at CSU. Every class I took was taught by a doctor in that respective field, not to mention the biggest class I was in had 15 students. I loved CSU and I would highly recommend it to students who want a one-on-one education, as well as a Christian environment.
