If one goes into the Military, or stays within the confines of the South, specifically Charleston, I think the Citadel would be of great benefit for networking and job success. Outside of these two conditions, I think going to universities in the area of the country you will be living/working might be a better choice. I think it took me a good 10 years to get to the point I would have been at had I chosen a more prestigous university, and used the connections gained from it in my job search and career path.

At The Citadel cadets have the opportunity to practices leadership techniqes in the barracks. Before you graduate you know what techniqes work and which ones do not. I believe a Citadel Grad is ready for any leadership position in any career field because they have four years leadership experience. (Sorry for any spelling mistakes)

Super Brilliant
If you like a crime ridden city with girls at the local college who want nothing to do with you, an administration that doesn't listen, do as I say not as I do micromanagement leadership, a psuedo-military environment, wearing the same thing everyday to class, girls with short hair who are more masculine than you, and the worst food you've ever had in your life OR if you've been picked on in middle school and have the desire for revenge then I'd say this school is for you.High school zero = Citadel hero
