I am from another southern state, and chose Clemson for a few reasons. Everyone I'd spoken with in my major was very friendly and helpful; animal and veterinary sciences is a relatively small program, and you can easily get one-on-one time with advisers and professors. The size is great - it's small enough that between classes, you can see at least one person you know, and large enough that you don't know everything about everyone. The campus is a convenient size, as well. It doesn't take more than 15 minutes to get from one building to another.

The football games are pretty amazing. Students are guaranteed a ticket to every home game, whether you sign up for block seating with an organization, or get tickets on your class's day. School spirit is seen all over campus on Solid Orange Fridays, and on gamedays. Tiger fans have been called some of the friendliest that rival school's fans have ever met.

I'm not involved in Greek life, but I have no lack of social life. Sororities and frats are definitely not a necessary thing to be a part of. Downtown Clemson is what you make of it; if you go down there thinking it'll be awful and boring, it will be. But I've personally never had a bad time after hanging out for a little while.

I have no regrets about coming to Clemson. I did get an in-state tuition scholarship, so that really helped with the prices. But I've made lifelong friends, been challenged in many ways which have helped me become a better person, and will graduate with honors and a lot more knowledge than I had when I got here.Go tigers!

The good things Clemson has are a good education, a safe campus, fairly happy students, and alot of Christian organizations. However, my overall experience at Clemson is negative. Students worship greek life but there is not even a greek row. The food is alright. It's great if you only eat pizza everyday. Greek life and football are taken way too seriously here because both are average at best. Also the town of Clemson is pretty boring. A fake is a requirement if one is not in a frat or a girl, and a ton of people go home each weekend when it is not football season. If i had a do-over i would choose a college with more around it and a school where there are a plethora of organizations to get involved in.

Clemsono, in a few words: It's unnecessarily hard (we've decided they want students to fail so they get more money), the school nickel and dimes all the students and gives them nothing for it, and the well being of the students is the last thing on their mind.

Come to clemson if you're a non-major just looking to waste your parents money while partying. If you want to get a real degree like Finance or Engineering you'll spend 4 years in hell at Clemson.Oh, there is also a ton of greek life here.
