at the College of Charleston join a community of scholars.
With all the advantages of a larger university, the College
provides individualized attention to students through small classes taught by
a dedicated and caring faculty - a public institution with
a private college feel. Widely celebrated for their teaching
excellence and innovative research, the College's professors have created an
intellectual experience that challenges students' academic curosity. Students explore a
rich array of learning opportunities, from conducting their own research
to traveling and studying abroad. Since its founding in
1770, the College of Charleston has offered a first-rate liberal
arts and sciences education. This was as true for students
learning Latin and Greek in the eighteenth century as it
is for those majoring in biochemistry, business administration, and computer
science today. As concerns of society have changed, so have
the College's course offerings. Yet the educational standards that have
existed for more than 200 years - providing a challenging,
individualized, and vibrant learning experience - remain the same.
We invite you to visit our campus to see if
you, too, are ready to accept the challenge and to
experience the exciting opportunities of the College of Charleston. Location/Contact COLLEGE OF CHARLESTON
