Having a perfect GPA in high school and being involved in a plethora of extracurriculars, I had many options open to me when it was time to choose a college. I looked into many larger, more prestigious universities, but in the end, Francis Marion proved to be the best fit. I enjoy the small class sizes, the dedicated faculty members, and the school as a whole. I couldn't be happier anywhere else.

Francis Marion Was a great choice for me. I really enjoyed the small classes, great faculty, on campus housing, and student life. If I had one bit of advice for any high school senior it would be for you to visit any university you are interested in attending. A visit to the campus will allow you to see the university first hand, and if that visit is to FMU, I am sure you will fall in love with it just as I did.

“Not a good schoolBrightPolitical Science
Not a good school unless you are a minority for which it has a large minority program to get jobs and other things on campus. Also the buildings and housing all look like a bad 1970's movie and not overly clean at that. The computers are for the most part up to date.
