This school is a sure path to bankrupt you and throw you out with nothing to show; but if you want to meet some of the worst people, come to FMU. This school is infested with white racists as someone said here. And when they found out they have been exposed through this bulletin board, they started freaking out. That's how they came up with those posts to boast their ratings. Since I was new at fmu I had no idea this was going on but it is shameful for the administration of a university to engage in such acts. That's a bad sign and I am happy to be out of there. Now, I am at Coastal Carolina University and I can see huge difference between the two universities.

This university sucks big time! Its administration is spending all the money trying to sell a different image to the public. But everyone knows it. If you don't believe me, go for a visit. You will find professors drunk and sleeping in their offices. I am graduating this fall but I know I have learned nothing to help me get a job. So I am going to Darlington Tech to learn some skills. This place is a dead End!

Francis Marion University is a really great school. As people quoted that it is easy to get into but hard to get out. It is what a person does with his or her major that counts. The university prepares the student to go out into the real world and start a great career. There may be some professors that may appear as slackers but there are some really great professors at FMU who care and want to see the students progress. For the negative reviews about FMU, I am a graduate from FMU and have met lots of students who were slackers. Therefore, if a student does not put in the effort then what can FMU do if the student is not willing to put their best foot forward.
