There is talk that Johnson and Wales (providence, ri) is on its way to be an ivy-leauge school. Some have said that the course work is too easy (resulting in them transphering). Although JWU's credits are very hard to transpher due to trimesters and their curiculum. 90% of the teachers are fair, and helpful if you show you are a commited student and that you show effort. Although like other schools, there are those that hardly speak english or hard to understand and will not help you nor do they care about your acedemic success. Providence city life is semi-limited until you reach 21+. There are always things going on with students, school sports and clubs. Most students finish their 4 yr degree in 2.5 - 3.5 years. If you get good grades but dont do well with testing this is the school for you, while they currently are nutural with sat/cat score submittions. If you like city life, this is the campus for you, but student life will be limited as you reach 3-4 year residence with running out of ideas to do. JWU has a high graduation rate and states a 99.8% sucess job offers before 4yr degree graduation.

Waste of Money. If you aren't going for culinary I would not attend. School doesn't advertise other programs as much. Dorms are infested with mice. Most credits won't transfer to a real college or university.
