Okay, about this nursing program...one reviewer said that they set up many hurdles for people to jump, just to stay in the program and this is absolutely true. If people were removed from the program based on academics, that would be one thing. HOWEVER, you can be removed from the program for any (and most) nonacademic nonessential or redundant thing they ask you to do and basically at their will. If this happens to you, good luck, because your ass is out and theres nothing you can do but go to the back of the 100-mile long line to get in. They have MANY people wanting to get in. However, they have a waiting list and are eager to weed out students who have worked hard to get in and stay in the program to let any other student in, reguardless of the qualifications and likeliness of completion of the program for either student. Its a good program though, but the academics isn't what gives you the headache its the politics and being treated like worse than a number, you are really NOTHING.

Many adults who veiw this college as a second chance in life are very successful. The reason for this is hard work , being focused, and not letting others thoughts and opinions influence ones outcome. It can be done.

This school wants to filter people out of entering its nursing program. They have high hurdles for all to jump over and too bad if someone trips. They have far too few seats for the number of students desiring to get in so they no longer care about any individual student in these programs. My review does *not* hold up for any other departments at this school. Many of their other departments are known to be wonderful.
