 | Super Brilliant | Overall one of the best schools in the region. I've dealt with The Citadel, Charleston Southern University, and College of Charleston and hands down Trident Technical College simply has their act together. Their website is well-built, their online courses are well-structured, class sizes are appropriate, teachers are knowledgable and helpful, and in the rare cases I need help from the administration they've been absolutely informative and prompt. | Faculty Accessibility: A+, Social Life: D- | | | |

| | Not so bright | | I graduated from high school in 2010. I went to Trident Tech because I didn't know what I wanted to major in and it would be a cheap alternative than experimenting at a four year. I must say. I was quite surprised at how challenging some of these classes could be. All of my science classes were challenging in their own right. Both of my professors had multiple years of teaching experience as well as Masters degrees in their respective sciences. The Foreign langauge department is again, excellent. Both of them greatly expounded on what I learned in high school. One of them even works as a translator for the US.Government. However, my elective classes, while interesting, were a cakewalk. I wish they'd be a little more challenging. If you come here, don't expect it to be entirely easy, especially if you're majoring in Chemistry or Biology. The math and science departments are top notch. Transfer students from College of Charleston and USC often state how difficult the classes are in comparison to their university equivalents. I can fully say that Trident Tech has made me ready for a four year. | Innovation: A+, Social Life: D+ | | | |

| | Not so bright | | As a non-traditional, adult student who attended TTC for a specific purpose namely an education, I was very pleased with the school and the programs offered. TTC is not a party school so if you want to hang around downtown and do a lot of drinking then maybe C of C is your answer. Incidently I also recieved B.A. degree from C of C in 1999. I went on to recieve a masters in secondary education but it all started at TTC. My son recieved his A.S. in engineering at TTC in 2007, was recruited andu upon graduation was hired by Haliburton of Texas and earns in excess of 100k a year working on oil rigs.Thank you Trident Tech. | Perceived Campus Safety: A+, Extracurricular Activities: C | | | |
