Going to Wofford was by far the best decision of my life. I was given the opportunity to get involved in a wide variety of campus organizations that have developed who I am today. The strong curriculum prepared me for a successful law school experience and the relationships I developed are priceless. I also had the incredible experience of studying abroad for a semester and through the amazing interim experience. I would strongly encourage anyone interested in Wofford to go visit! The social life is incredible, although its a small school, everyone knows how to have a great time! The worst part about Wofford was leaving.

The student body is made up mostly of Christians, a few of whom can be a little closeminded sometimes. I am an atheist and a religion major so this can be bothersome occassionally, but people are so friendly in the south even if you are different that it really isn't much of a problem.Greek life is huge here. I think the percentage of greek students is around 60%. Even if you don't join a Greek organization you can still participate in their activities though. But if you plan on coming here and are unsure whether you want to be involved in a sorority or fraternity, you might want to reconsider, it can be a bit suffocating here at times.

Wofford offers an excellent education. More, the school fosters an environment where individuality is encouraged and personal growth is nurtured. Many times students from other schools would visit and be literally "wowed" by the atmosphere on campus, as well as its physical beauty. Classes are small, professors are mentors as well as teachers, and most students feel that they are living a unique experience that cannot be gained anywhere else. Without doubt, it is elite. That is, everyone feels privileged to be there, regardless of their background. A Wofford degree opens many doors throughout an alum's life. That is more than worth the price of admission; it is priceless.
