Wofford is a big adjustment if the incomingBrightPsychology
Wofford is a big adjustment if the incoming student is not used to an upper-middle class, conservative atmosphere. After a couple weeks of getting used to it, I fell in love with everything about Wofford. Before enrolling, though, students should know that the majority of the students on campus are involved in greek life or athletics. Greek life is a major part of the campus, and the fraternity row is the main source of weekend entertainment. The senior housing at Wofford is exceptional (known as "the village"), and it also adds to the weekend entertainment. There are always band parties and theme parties going on around campus. Most of the people at Wofford are studious, very friendly, and a lot of fun. The faculty at Wofford also go above and beyond to get to know students on a one-on-one basis while providing a challenging yet interesting curriculum. They are always also very accommodating to individual students.

Question
I am well on my way to anNot so bright
I am well on my way to an excellent medical school..I turned down Davidson and Wake to attend Wofford...The economey was starting to tank and being the oldest of 5 I would not have put the burden of paying full tuition on my family...Davidson expects families to mortgage their homes and spend every extra cent a family has in in place of student loans...Wake also did not offer much money...Wofford was exceptionally generous and I am glad I made my decision with a financial perspective..I will be heading to an excellent medical school with no undergrad debt as well as having a wonderful college experience.

Wofford is a special place with really nice people. You're sure to find friends here who will truly care about you. That's not to say that everyone here will always have your back, but you won't ever feel alone. The professors are fantastic, too. They really know what's up in their field and are happy to help you individually if you need or want it.
