I DO NOT recommend going to the RapidQuite BrightNursing
I DO NOT recommend going to the Rapid City National American University campus. The staff (NOT including instructors) is rude and treats you like a number. It is run more like a business than a school. I am currently enrolled in a different state university that has 10x the amount of students and I am treated so much better. I get answers right away to all my questions and concerns with friendliness. Staff at NAU is not on the same page when it comes to financial aid and transcripts, they all give different answers and WRONG ones at that. Nursing graduates are not guaranteed a job out of school as are the graduates from other states schools because of the reputation that NAU has. A good school to me is one that you are not afraid to call or stop in an office to discuss a concern you may have. As a student paying a high tuition rate, you should not have to wait weeks and call to leave messages several times for an answer to one simple question. The phones are never answered and emails are never replied to.

It's one of those "FOR PROFIT" online colleges; disabled Veterans BEWARE . .. Especially in Austin, TX!!!Rapid City, SD are a bunch of bone heads; doesn't take a Rocket Scientist to fax in-school deferment forms to Sallie Mae. It took 2.5 months for Sallie Mae to receive them.

The school itself was good.Quite BrightCriminal
The school itself was good. The faculty, and just about everyone was really nice and helpful. I would definitely recommend this school if it wasn't for their financial aid department, which is a big, issue unless you're rich and don't care about where your money goes. I read other review on this school about the financial department and I wish I would have gone with them. This school will screw you over big time. I had financial aid, a scholarship, and a student loan, obviously the scholarship would be used first then the rest?somehow (and no one can explain to me) I ended up with a due balance on over $1000 which I had to pay. They let you finish semesters without checking if funds are in your acct so when it's too late you end up paying for it out of pocket. Please be careful about going to this school, it's a good school but even though I stayed on top of financial aid about my classes being paid I still got screwed over at the end.

(This school does not have University email address but if any questions i can be contacted at )
