I hate Austin Peay it's a commuter school, everyone is old because they are from the military, and I don't know being out of school for 6 years makes them take up WAY too much class time asking questions they should know the answers to. All of the students who are college age are "the rejects" everyone is like punk rocker goth dress in black weirdos who watch anime (which I am NOT) basically if you graduated high school you can go here, there is no challenge about getting in. If you are from a small town and have never been exposed to diversity, don't start her, there is a lot of diversity. EVERYONE smokes. Clarksville has nothing to offer either, it is not a college town, it is a military town. DON'T GO HERE! (I'm transferring after this semester!)

My education at Austin Peay didn't help me at all getting into the field I wanted. The only positive thing that happened from Austin Peay was stuff in my personal life. My education did not get any real help there. Sure, I learned more than I knew going in, but honestly, if had gotten a job in my field, I could have learned it all that way too and I'd be farther at this point.

I would recommend looking into another school. I'm having to go back to a different school to get a better experience and to gain better skills and contacts.

APSU was perfect for me. I am a non-traditional student, so I fit right in as the average age is 25. Yes, there are many "older" students, which makes classes more interesting! Most faculty are very friendly, helpful and knowlegable. There are a few new muti-million dollar buildings: The honestly beautiful Morgan University Center(which houses eateries, Java City coffehouse, pool tables, video games, a convenient store, etc), The amazing Sunquist Science Center, rockin' new dorms, etc. Many of the bulding have wireless service. The campus is small, accesible, safe and very pretty. Class size is also very small. Overall APSU is a great little university and was just right for me to finish my undergraduate degree.
